What is a cricket bowling machine?
A machine that delivers a cricket ball to a batsman at a set speed, line and length, again and again — so you can practise a shot without needing someone to bowl at you. Robowler machines feed 20 or 30 balls automatically from a loaded feeder.
Which Robowler should I buy?
It depends on the ball you play with. Tape ball — Junior (PKR 96,000) or Tape Baller (PKR 197,000). Tape plus spinner ball — Professional (PKR 143,000). Hard ball up to 140 g — Hard Baller (PKR 273,000). Regulation leather ball — Leather Baller (PKR 396,000).
How fast do Robowler machines bowl?
From 95 kph on the Junior to 170 kph on the Leather Baller, adjustable across the whole range. Every speed we publish is a release speed, measured with a Bushnell Velocity 101911 radar speed gun.
Can it bowl a real leather cricket ball?
The Leather Baller bowls a regulation leather cricket ball at up to 170 kph, along with hard, medium, spinner, tape and tennis balls. Many well-known machines are designed around polyurethane practice balls only.
Does it work without electricity?
Yes. Every model runs from mains, a UPS or a battery — about 100 W on the Junior and 280 W on the Leather Baller — so load-shedding does not end the session.
Can it swing and spin the ball?
The Professional, Tape Baller, Hard Baller and Leather Baller all deliver inswing, outswing, legspin and offspin, with adjustable line and length for yorkers, good length and bouncers. The Junior is a fixed line-and-length machine.
What warranty do I get?
One year on the Tape Baller, Hard Baller and Leather Baller; six months on the Professional; three months on the Junior. An extended warranty can be purchased with any machine, and servicing is handled by our own engineers in Lahore.
